Located on a former WW2 Bomber Base

Read the wartime history of the airfield in our museum dedicated to the memory of the aircrews that were based here during the war. Learn about Lady Moe the donkey who was the base mascot . She preferred to eat candy and cookies to donkey food. During summer when the mess doors were open she would eat with the aircrews!!
